John Horner had two goals and an assist in his first game back from a rib injury. Harrison is next up on Tuesday.

Girls Lacrosse

Fox Lane's girls lacrosse team is currently on a two-game losing streak but is not as bad as one might think. Fox Lane won against Pleasantville, 18-7, Monday, which was  followed by a tough 19-10 loss against John Jay Wednesday. The Foxes then played much better in a close loss Saturday at a non-region game against New Canaan. Lindsay Toppe led the Foxes with five goals and one assist on the day.

Horace Greeley Quakers

Baseball

Horace Greeley baseball is currently on a six-game winning streak to stand at 11-1-1 on the season. Most recent wins include a 6-1 victory over the Port Chester Rams Monday, followed by a sweep of the Somers Tuskers, 8-7 Wednesday, and 12-1 Thursday. Jesse Zweibon led the Quakers with 10 total RBIs in the two games against the Tuskers. The Quakers look to make it seven straight on  Tuesday at home against Byram Hills.

After shutting out the Port Chester Rams 10-0 on Tuesday, Greeley softball had a bit tougher time with the Tuskers, splitting the series 8-2, Wednesday, and 6-0 on Thursday to currently stand at 9-4. Hannah Marks had two RBIs for the Quakers in the victory over the Rams and the first loss to Somers.

Boys Lacrosse

Horace Greeley boys lacrosse fell to 3-7 on the year in a 9-5 loss to the John Jay Indians on Friday night at SUNY Purchase. Horace Greeley looks to bounce back when it hosts Byram Hills on Tuesday.

Girls Lacrosse

A tough league game against Somers resulted in a 13-13 tie for the Greeley girls lacrosse team Monday. The Rye Garnets would then get the best of them in a 19-7 defeat to currently stand at 1-10-1 on the season. Camey Hess, Jess Kreisler, and Issy Berkey each scored two goals for the Quakers who look to redeem themselves when they host Pleasantville on Wednesday.
