Surprise Snow Could Make Travel Tricky in Chappaqua, Mount Kisco
The storm to the southeast has some snow for us on its upper edge.

The snowstorm that has hit the Mid-Atlantic is really passing to our south....but.
“The moisture that has reached up into the HV has banded together, and created an area of moderate snow near and south of I-84. A surprise snow burst for the southern parts of the area,” says Hudson Valley Weather.
The snow should not last long, the meteorologists say...but a dusting to a half inch cannot be ruled out.

Roads and walks should be slick.
“Please use extreme caution in areas where the snow is falling steadily… as this snow banding was not expected to reach into the HV,” says Hudson Valley Weather. “Many drivers will be caught off guard and unprepared. We continue to monitor the developing situation.”
