Variances for Chappaqua Station on State's Agenda Dec. 9
The public meeting will be held in Cortlandt.

Conifer Realty’s controversial Chappaqua Station project is on the agenda of the New York State Department of State’s Hudson Valley Regional Board of Review meeting Dec. 9.
The New Castle Town Board approved a special permit in 2013 for the proposed affordable housing project, which would have 28 apartment units in a 4-story building at 54 Hunts Place.
Conifer is still seeking variances for various building and fire code requirements, including unprotected exterior wall openings and aerial fire apparatus access. Fire safety has been one of the local concerns.
