WeeZee - The Science of Play Announces Winter 2015 Preschool and After-School Classes for Kids

WeeZee – The Science of Play, Westchester County’s only sensory gym, an 18,000 square foot play, fitness and learning facility for children ages 1-12, located in Chappaqua, NY, has announced its winter 2015 line-up of engaging classes for preschoolers and after school classes for kids ages 5 - 12. With guest instructors representing some of the New York region’s most notable experts, the new classes will start at $100 per six-week session and will run from January 5-February 13. Transportation from many local schools is available at an additional charge, and includes snack and homework help.

Registration for classes is open to WeeZee members and non-members alike.

PRESCHOOL CLASSES:

**Super Science Club (for kids ages 3 – 5, *must be potty trained)
Tuesdays or Wednesdays, 2-2:45pm, with Romy from Super Science Club, ages 3-5
Do experiments, make fizzy stuff, gooey stuff, sticky stuck, and even explosive stuff! A super fun class that explores the magic of science!

**Music and Movement (for parents and kids Ages 0-3)
Wednesdays 1-1:30pm with Coach Ronnie
A 30-minute music class providing the perfect amount of structured activities where children explore music, build physical coordination, and stimulate the senses, all while having fun!

**Little Lotus Yoga (for parent/caregiver and children ages 3-5)
Saturdays 1-1:45pm with Chiara of Kismet Kids Yoga
Harness your child’s natural energy in this Parent and Me class through movement, exploration, music, story-telling, dance, theme-related games and inspired Yoga-play. Capture your little one’s imagination as they refine their motor skills and sensory awareness, while teaching children to quiet both mind and body. Come deepen the bond created at birth between you and your little one!

AFTER-SCHOOL CLASSES: For children ages 5-12. Transportation from many local schools is available at an additional charge, and includes snack and homework help.

**WeeZee Workout
Mondays 4:30-5:15pm, With Coach Vivi
Fitness and Fun, Coach Vivi makes every kid excited to get healthy and active, while building on coordination and discipline! High energy, sweat dripping fun!

**Aerospace Engineering for Kids
Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm, With Engineering for Kids
Students use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine a variety of flying machines. Construct a shock absorbing system designed to protect two marshmallow and assemble a model blimp that actually takes flight!

**Super Science Club
Thursdays 4:30-5:15pm, With Jessica from Super Science Club, Ages 5-12

**Piano Lessons
Mondays and Wednesdays 4-6pm (30min slots), with Siepo Sampson,
$35/lesson
