West Patent Students Meet Meteorologist

Fourth- and fifth-grade students at West Patent Elementary recently welcomed Joe Rao, News12 Meteorologist and Hayden Planetarium lecturer, to their school.

Rao met with students in space and weather enrichment classes to view some of their work, then took questions for all in fourth and fifth grades. Students had the opportunity to learn what inspired Rao's work in the sciences and to hear how, after all these years, he still loves his work.
