MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent incidents in the village to which Westchester County Police responded.
Friday, Feb. 23 – 12:28 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to the Mount Kisco Public Library on East Main Street after staff reported that two men were sleeping in the community room. The men were told they could not sleep on the premises and they left the building.
9:43 a.m. – A motorist came to the county police precinct on Green Street to turn in a wallet that he found belonging to a village resident. The motorist said he found the wallet on Route 117 in Pleasantville. An officer was subsequently able to return the wallet to the owner at his residence on Bittersweet Lane.

Thursday, Feb. 22 – 6:10 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a gas station on East Main Street on a report of a dispute between two patrons. Upon arrival, a man told officers that he had gotten into an argument with a woman after they almost collided approaching the gas pumps. He said the woman threatened him with a baseball bat before driving off. He provided officers with a license plate of her car but said he did not wish to pursue the matter further.
12:07 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Main Street and North Moger Avenue on a report that an intoxicated man was lying on the sidewalk. The man was taken by Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.

Wednesday, Feb. 21 – 9:36 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a business on North Bedford Road on an activated burglar alarm. It was determined that the alarm was set off in error by a contractor.
Tuesday, Feb. 20 – 6:52 p.m. -- Erik Landaverry-Lemus, 31, of Lexington Avenue was charged with Harassment 2 nd Degree, a violation, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a misdemeanor, following a dispute he had earlier in the day with a business owner on East Main Street. He is accused of confronting the store owner and threatening to set fire to the business. The incident occurred in front of the man’s wife and child.
Monday, Feb. 19 –2:45 p.m. – Timoteo Arias, 31, who reported he is homeless, was charged with Petit Larceny, a misdemeanor, after staff at Rite Aid on South Moger Avenue said he took a 30-pack of beer from the store without paying for it.
8:29 a.m. –Officers responded to a residence on Ridge Road on a report that an 85-year- old man was very ill with flu-like symptoms. He was taken by Westchester EMS to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.
