The Yorktown Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with
the Town of Yorktown, will be hosting its Sixth Annual Yorktown Festival and Street Fair on Sunday, October 12,
2013 from 11am – 5pm in downtown Yorktown.
Come join in the fun as Commerce
Street and Veterans Road are filled with more than 250 vendors with something
for everyone. Last year's event brought out a record
breaking number of attendees who enjoyed a fabulous day of sunshine, food,
music and fun. An estimated 20,000 including babies, children, families and
seniors enjoyed the vendors, food and music!

New to the Festival and Street Fair this
year is the New Car Show, featuring 35 2015 car models, brought to you by local
dealers. And as always, you’ll be treated to music, food, shopping, and
more, all from local Yorktown vendors. From 11:30am – 1:30pm, seniors can
enjoy a complimentary Senior Luncheon at the American Legion Post 1009 on
Veterans Road. Our local heroes at the Yorktown Fire House will also be
on hand to conduct live demonstrations!

Kids of all ages with enjoy the amazing rides,
attractions, and fun food provided by Funtime Amusements, Inc, such as the
Jumbo Bounce Ride, Kidiepillar, Air Brush Face Artist, Inflatable Slides, and
much more!! Street Performers will also
provide entertainment throughout the day, such as Stilt Walkers and Jugglers,
as well as Clowns making balloon animals!
From open to close, The Yorktown Festival and Street Fair will provide
continuous live, local musical talent (Elvis is back!), shopping, food and
more! Be sure to save the date, as this
event is sure to please everyone in your family, no matter how old or young.
