Youth wrestling tourney
Talk about a youth wrestling event to remember, Pleasantville High School hosted the first-annual Pleasantville Youth Wrestling Tournament on Jan. 22.

The tournament consisted of 288 boys and girls between the ages of five and 12 from Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess and Fairfield counties.

Boys youth hoops
One of the teams that New Castle is fielding in the Tri-County Basketball League is in the eighth grade AA division.
New Castle played a hard-fought game on Jan. 24 but lost to the New Rochelle Rebels 67-56.
