Little athletes can get moving and learn the fundamentals of basketball this fall with Lil’ Dunkers, a fun and engaging program from Premier Basketball NY at the Suffolk Y JCC in Commack.
Designed for children in Pre-K through first grade, approximately ages 4–7, Lil’ Dunkers introduces young players to the basic fundamentals of basketball through innovative drills, competitive games, and fun contests. The program focuses on building skills and confidence while creating a positive and enjoyable environment for young players to learn the game.
Participants will work on essential basketball skills including ball handling, form shooting, proper footwork, passing, and more. Small group sizes also allow for individual attention throughout the program.
The Fall 2026 session includes eight classes held on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., beginning September 15 and continuing through November 3.
