Man Stole Briefcase With $7,000 Inside From Commack Business: Police

Have you seen this man? Police are looking for him.

Police are seeking a man who stole a briefcase with $7,000 inside from a Commack stationary store in April.

On April 3, 2016, a man entered South Stationery on 22 Motor Parkway and went into an employee office where he took the briefcase with the money inside, police said.

The man was described as heavy-set and wearing a dark-colored winter parka with fur around the collar, a brown sweater, dark-colored pants, dark-colored shoes, and a dark-brown Yankees baseball cap, police said.

He appeared to have some facial hair, possibly a small mustache and/or goatee and walks with a minor limp, according to police.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
