July 24: Gasser & Sons, Inc. on 440 Moreland Road reported that they were victimized by an email scheme on July 24 and July 25 in which they were advised to wire transfer funds to a bank in Hong Kong.
July 25: A person stole merchandise valued at $26 from Kohl’s on 45 Crooked Hill Road at 4:45 p.m.

July 26: A person stole merchandise valued at $708 from Lowes on 100 Long Island Expressway at 11 a.m.
July 26: A person stole merchandise valued at $345 from Lowes on 100 Long Island Expressway at 5:30 p.m.

July 27: A person stole merchandise valued at $380 from Kohl’s on 45 Crooked Hill Road at 3:50 p.m.
July 27: A wheelchair valued at $200 was stolen from the front porch of 2 Weldon Avenue on at 12 p.m.
July 28: An employee at Community Housing Innovations on 450 Moreland Road called 911 on
at 11:30 p.m. The employee reported that a resident had threatened her with physical harm. The employee did not press charges.
July 28: A purse was stolen from a customer’s shopping cart in the parking lot of ShopRite on 1 Garet Place
Street on July 28 at 9:15 a.m.
July 28: Two men were arrested at 4:30 p.m. for attempting to steal $1,280 worth of merchandise from Home Depot on 65 Crooked Hill Road. Rubinsky Padilla, 41, and Edwin Gonzalez, 44, both of the Bronx, New York, were charged with grand larceny.
