  • July 31: Someone stole a scanner from the Target on 98 Veteran's Memorial Highway.
  • August 1: A person stole a 2004 Yamaha ATV from the front garage door of a home on Seneca Drive.
  • August 1: Someone broke the rear back windshield of a 2005 Honda Odyssey parked in the driveway of a Hayrick home.
  • August 3: A woman reported that jewelry was reported stolen from the bedroom of her home on Marie Court.
  • August 3: A man reported that someone egged his house and car at his home on Ketay S. Drive.
  • August 4: Robert Cariddi, 61, of Patchogue was arrested for stealing from his place of employment, Best Market, on 84 Jericho Turnpike. He stole assorted home goods on Aug. 4 and two packs of protein powder on Aug. 1. He was charged with two counts of petty larceny.
  • August 6: A person stole a computer and a speaker system from Walmart on 85 Crooked Hill.
  • August 7: A person stole a chainsaw from Lowe's on 100 North Service Road.
