Please note the following changes to programs at the Kings Park Branch of the Smithtown Library:
The Zombie program on Friday, October 18th is now Zombie Science. The program will run from 4:30-5:30pm. It will include a presentation and discussion on the Science Behind Zombies, as well as a hands-on “guess the zombie body part” game.
Video Game Design has had a date change; the first session is still on Saturday, November 9th; the second session has been changed to Saturday, November 16th. Each session will run from 2:30-4:30pm.
In this hands-on class, teens will get an introduction to the basics of video game creation. Learn how to design a video game and write a program. Teens will leave the second session with a disc of their work!
Each program is open to teens in the Smithtown district in grades 6-12. Please visit the library's website or call 631-269-9191 for more information and to register.
