Deer Park SADD Club Provides Banner Support
Club designs a banner to support a nearby school dealing with the death of a student.

When Deer Park High School’s Students Against Destructive Decisions Club heard of the October death of Shoreham-Wading River High School football player Tom Cutinella, they began planning a project in support of the latter school.
SADD Club members designed a special banner – adorned with student and staff signatures – to honor the memory of Cutinella, for presentation to Shoreham-Wading River Principal Daniel Holtzman.
“Having felt the loss of students in the past at Deer Park, our club members felt that we should show our support to help comfort their students,” said SADD adviser Janet Werner.
