Driver Hospitalized After Overturn Crash On Southern State: FD
The crash was reported Wednesday morning.
NORTH BABYLON, NY - One person was hospitalized after an overturn crash on the Southern State in North Babylon on Wednesday morning.
Members of the North Babylon Volunteer Company responded to reports of a crash by Exit 37 (Belmont Avenue) at about 9:50 a.m.
The car was found on its side and one person had been removed by good Samaritans and an off-duty police officer due to the threat of fire because of an active gasoline leak inside the car.

The driver was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
