First Graders Serve Veterans Day Breakfast at SSCM

Last week, in honor of Veterans Day, first graders at Saints Cyril and Methodius School in Deer Park lovingly whipped up a delicious French Toast breakfast for SSCM’s own resident Veteran, Father Dennis Suglia. Father Suglia served in the United States Marine Corp for four years before answering his calling to the vocation of priesthood. The students were thrilled to be able to do this for Father Suglia, who frequents SSCM classrooms and is always quick with a parable for the class. Father Suglia seemed quite moved by the youngsters’ gesture and together they prayed for all military personnel and their families.
