Five New Popeye's Restaurants Coming To Long Island
The franchise is planning to open the new eateries on Long Island within the next year.
LONG ISLAND, NY - The fast-food chain Popeye's will opening 5 new restaurants on Long Island within the next year, according to a report in Newsday.
The franchise already has three restaurants currently under construction in Deer Park on 1670 Deer Park Avenue, in Riverhead on 212 Old Country Road and in Brentwood on 1825 Brentwood Road, Newsday reports.
The other two are still waiting to receive the proper permits from officials before beginning construction.

Patch attempted to contact Popeye's several times but did not receive a response.
The franchise currently has a total of 13 eateries on Long Island in the following locations:
