Long Island Memorial Day Weekend Weather: A Mixed Bag

Rain may threaten some outdoor events this holiday weekend.

Saturday and Sunday will be the best bets for outdoor activities, including for the immensely popular Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach.

The chances for rain on Memorial Day Monday have been increasing and the National Weather Service now says it expects it to be raining across the region on Monday morning. Don't cancel that barbecue, though. The odds of rain will decrease Monday afternoon.
