Man Injured In Wyandanch Shooting

The shooting was reported on Thursday night.

WYANDANCH, NY - A man was injured in a shooting in Wyandanch on Thursday night, according to Suffolk Police.

The 32-year-old Medford man was shot in the left leg on Washington Avenue near North 12th Street at about 10:42 p.m.

The man, whose identity was not released by police, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
