Man Robs North Babylon Bank

Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in North Babylon Thursday night.

According to police, the man entered the TD Bank, located at 1361 Deer Park Ave., at about 7:05 p.m. and presented a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the demand and the man fled eastbound on foot.

The robber was described as black, about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 with a medium build. He was wearing a light-colored brim hat, a grey hooded-sweatshirt and a dark-colored jacket with white gloves with red tips on the fingers.

The investigation is continuing and anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
