North Babylon Boy and Girl Scouts at Pinelawn National Cemetery for Memorial Day Decoration of Graves

On May 27, 2017 North Babylon's Boy Scout Troop 399 and Girl Scout Troop 3161 helped prepare a Memorial Day tribute to the men and women who have lost their lives serving their country. The scouts arrived at Pinelawn National Cemetery in the early morning to decorate the graves with hundreds of American flags. Decorating the graves is an annual tradition for the Scouts, and takes them about two hours to complete.
