Police Seek Man Who Broke Into North Babylon Restaurant
The burglary occurred last month. Photos and surveillance video released Wednesday. Reward offered for info leading to an arrest.
Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who burglarized a North Babylon restaurant last month.
Police say the man pictured above smashed a front door to gain entry into Pizzaiola restaurant, located at 1162 Deer Park Avenue, at about 4:40 a.m. on Sept. 8.
Once inside, the man stole cash, police said.

The thief is described as a white male who was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a blue baseball cap and white sneakers. He fled in a white older model (late 80s) four-door sedan.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
