A Wyandanch teen was arrested a day after he robbed a man who was walking in Deer Park, police said.
According to police, the victim was walking on W. 2nd Street shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday when he was robbed of his iPhone by 17-year-old Quasim Johnson. Police say Johnson also punched and kicked the man.
Johnson was arrested on Sunday morning. He will be arraigned on a second degree robbery charge in First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.
