Some Guy's Car Wash Turns One

One year after its birth, Some Guy's Car Wash isn't just walking, it's doing it on stilts.

A towering stilt walker, games, balloon animals and food set the tone of the carnival-themed anniversary event Friday at the car wash, located at 1287 Deer Park Avenue in North Babylon.

After days of rain, Friday's 75-degree weather and the bussiness' anniversary specials brought in a steady flow of traffic, marking its first birthday on a high note.

"Me and my whole family have been coming here," Deer Park resident Giulia Caffarelli said. "They've always been good to my car. You can't beat it."
