Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Town Councilwoman Jackie Gordon, Town Councilman Tom Donnelly, and New York State Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean-Pierre to congratulate Jonathan Wagner, of Deer Park, for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. The Eagle Scout is the highest rank in the Boy Scouts organization. A Court of Honor ceremony was held for Jonathan at the Deer Park Volunteer Fire Department.

For his project, Jonathan oversaw the replacement of a 40-year old musical instrument storage unit at Deer Park High School. Supervisor Schaffer commended Jonathan for his achievement and thanked him for his service to the community.
