When I had my chimney rebuild the construction company didn’t seal it properly causing water and moisture to seep into the walls of my house. It took me about 8 or 9 months to figure out I even had a leak and when I did, it was too late. The odor coming from my living room was pretty bad, it was a stale musky odor that caused my stomach to turn every time I entered the room. I thought I needed my chimney cleaned again but it was actually mold growing behind the walls around the chimney eating away at the drywall and framing. Five Boro Mold was referred to me by a friend who used them a couple of years ago when their basement flooded. The team came out to the house and inspected the property to any moisture and ultimately found the exact spot where the moisture was coming in. I was able to go out and buy a tube of silicone and have the leak fixed quickly but the damage it already caused to the home was expensive. After the team had all of the mold removed, I was then able to have the repairs needed to actually enjoy my home again.
