Bombay Rickey is a five-piece band that writes original music straddling the boundaries of surf, cumbia, spaghetti-Western, and Bollywood, balanced out with a little coloratura soprano. The members of Bombay Rickey are all established musicians in NY, having played with John Zorn, Anthony Braxton, Chicha Libre, Alarm Will Sound, and others. We've been playing as a band for a couple of years, and, after getting hundreds of requests, are finally ready to make a record!
