Annual Library Children's Fair Delights In East Hampton: Photos

Wide-eyed children were able to meet the authors of their favorite books at the beloved annual event in East Hampton.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — It was a day of fun and laughter on Sunday afternoon at the "555" field in Amagansett as the East Hampton Library held its annual "Children's Fair."

The day of free family fun always follows the Library's major annual Authors Night event. There was something for everyone, including carnival games, amusement park rides, hot dogs and brownies served by the East Hampton Lions Club, ice cream, zany magic shows, face painting, and much more.

Children had the opportunity to meet the creators of the books they have on their bookshelves at home, and to buy the latest titles to add to their collections.
