ARF's 'Stroll To The Sea' Coming Soon
Mutts, purebreds and pedigrees are invited to take the two-mile charity walk to the ocean and back to help homeless four-footed friends.
EAST HAMPTON, NY — Four-footed friends will take a stroll soon to help homeless shelter pets find forever homes.
The Animal Rescue Fund's 25th Annual "Stroll To The Sea" Dog Walk takes place on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 10 James Lane in East Hampton from 9 a.m. to noon.
The fun family event, presented by the Corcoran Group, is organized to promote responsible dog ownership and awareness of ARF. Gates open at 9 a.m. for registration, with the walk kicking off at 10 a.m.

Mutts, purebreds and pedigrees are invited to take the two-mile charity walk to the ocean and back to help the animals at the ARF Adoption Center, organizers said.
The morning includes free refreshments, a free T-shirt with artwork by Isaac Mizrahi, a free ARF tote bag, free nail clippings for dogs, contests, a dog agility course, and music by Hamptons folksinger Sandy Rapp.

Pre-registration starts at $30; day of the event $40. Children 13 and under walk free with a registered adult. Register online here or, to register by phone, call Jean at 631-537-0400 ext. 219. Rain date, Oct. 7, with 8 a.m registration and walk at 9 a.m.
