Ceremony Marks 20th Anniversary Of 'Lost At Sea' Memorial
The Montauk memorial lists the names of area fishermen lost forever.
MONTAUK, NY — A solemn ceremony will be held to honor lost fishermen.
An observance of the 20th anniversary of the completion and dedication of “The Lost at Sea Memorial” will be held at the memorial site at the Montauk Lighthouse grounds on Sunday, October 20 at 3 p.m.
Family, friends and the public are welcome to attend the observance in honor of the fishermen listed on the memorial.

The Lost at Sea Memorial at Montauk Point is a commemorative monument memorializing commercial fisherman lost while fishing the "Peconic waters of eastern Long Island," according to the monument's website.
