Chef Marco Barrila Opens New Restaurant Following Closure of Pop Up Restaurant

The restaurant opened last week for the holiday week.

Following the closure of his previous restaurant in October, Chef Marco Barrila recently announced the opening of his new Water Mill restaurant.

Manna by Marco Barrila opened during the holiday week at the location of Barrila’s last pop-up restaurant Via Del Mare on 670 Montauk Highway.

The location was also the home of Mirko’s Restaurant which closed down in 2013.

Barrila, a top New York City chef and owner of the catering company Insatiable EATS, plans to serve traditional dishes focused on his farm to table approach.

Guests can expect meals including duck consume, lobster risotto, short rib pappardelle, truffle infused veal chops and more.

In October, Barrila announced he would be working as the head chef of Via Del Mare, which was owned by New York City restaurateur Paulo Della Puppa, however the restaurant closed down shortly after when Barrila resigned.
