Classically Trained Student Musicians to Host Benefit Concert For Katy's Courage

A community of classically trained student musicians will be hosting a benefit concert to raise money for Katy’s Courage, non-profit dedicated to education, pediatric cancer research and counseling.

The concert will take place at the Bay Street Theater located on 1 Bay Street in Sag Harbor, on Sunday, March 22 starting at 3 p.m.

The students, who have participated in ensembles such as the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra and have performed at prestigious concert venues including Carnegie Hall and Steinway Hall, will be perform a variety of works of art.

The suggested donation for guests is $20.

The organization was created in honor of Katy Stewart, an inspirational 12-year-old girl who died from a rare form of pediatric liver cancer.

They work to support education, children’s bereavement counseling and pediatric cancer research through multiple fundraising events.
