Controversial Artwork On View At Planned Parenthood Event: Photos

Niki Johnson's controversial "Hills and Valleys" was on display at a Planned Parenthood fundraiser in the Hamptons.

WAINSCOTT, NY — Artist Niki Johnson's 11' tall work "Hills & Valleys" set the tone as the centerpiece of Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic's 30th Annual East End Benefit at LTV Studios in Wainscott on Saturday evening.

The unique and controversial piece was carefully assembled from sign fragments from six Planned Parenthood Milwaukee locations that closed down in 2013.

PPHP President and CEO Vincent Russell, event co-chair Barbara Clarke, and the PPHP staff invited guests to enjoy music, food and drink.

Niki Johnson's dramatic PowerPoint presentation showed the broad range of her creativity, from a portrait of Pope Benedict —"Eggs Benedict" — made entirely of folded condoms, to sliced plates and Donald Trump.
