EAST HAMPTON, NY — East Hampton is the place to be for some of the most dazzling July 4 celebrations anywhere. Here's a rundown of festivities in East Hampton and on the South Fork.

Here's a rundown of fireworks and parades in East Hampton and nearby:

- On July 4, the "largest 4th of July parade" on Long Island kicks off in Southampton from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The parade leaves from Railroad Plaza and continues down North Main, Main Street, Jobs Lane.

- Also on July 4, in one of the most beloved fireworks displays of the year in the Hamptons, the Westhampton County Club puts on a spectacular display of Grucci dazzlers each year at their annual July 4 party, a show that's enjoyed by the entire community, who line up on the streets to watch. This year, the fireworks will take place at the Westhampton Country Club on Potunk Lane on Wednesday, July 4, when the sun goes down. The event has been enjoyed for generations, and is a beloved Westhampton Beach tradition.

- The popular "Stars Over Montauk" fireworks display also takes place on July 4.

- Dazzling fireworks are set for July 7 on Shelter Island.

- Devon Yacht Club in Amagansett will present its annual fireworks show on July 7.

- A beloved East Hampton tradition, the 38th annual fireworks celebration, "The Great Bonac Fireworks Show," hosted by The Clamshell Foundation & Grucci, takes place Saturday, July 14, just after 9 p.m. over Three Mile Harbor in East Hampton, this year dedicated to Ben and Bonnie Krupinksi.

In addition, the 27th Annual Sandcastle Contest takes place on August 4 at Atlantic Avenue Beach in Amagansett. The contest is open to all ages and runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The fireworks spectacular continues after the passing of Rossetti Perchik, founder of The Clamshell Foundation, who died in 2016; Rossetti's personal financial contributions were primarily responsible for making the fireworks happen since The Clamshell Foundation took over the event. But the tradition lives on: Both events are possible through the community's continued support.

"We are still working to raise enough money for the fireworks and any donation the community can provide will help us continue the tradition of both events, along with giving back to the local community and environment. 100 percent of all profits go back to our community," The Clamshell Foundation said in a release last year. The organization also funds local scholarships for students. To make a donation to ensure the events continue, click here.

- The East Hampton Fire Department will host its fireworks show on Aug. 25 at Main Beach.
