East Hampton Historical Farm Museum's Festive Opening Day: Photos
Horse and saddle demonstrations, treadle sewing machines, period costumes, farming and country music were part of opening day festivities.
EAST HAMPTON, NY — It was a step back into yesterday at the East Hampton Historical Farm Museum's opening day festival Saturday.
Thanks to the hard work and passion of Prudence Carabine and crew, including Brian Carabine, Alice Wood, Linda Lester, Sharon Wolfe, Mary Bennett, and Jennifer Edwards, the popular destination on North Main Street kicked off the season with tours of the barn and the Lester farmhouse, and had the opportunity to purchase period items on the way.
Horse and saddle demonstrations, treadle sewing machines, period costumes, farming and the country music of the Potter-Tekulsky Band rounded out the fun.
