East Hampton Lieutenant Retires

The police department announced the lieutenant's retirement on Friday.

East Hampton Town Police Department recently announced that Lieutenant Christopher Hatch is retiring on Friday after 22 years of dedicated and professional service to the Department and the community.

Hatch has served as Montauk Precinct Commander, founding member of Emergency Service Unit team, firearms and defensive tactics instructor, Department Training Officer and field training officer.

He has has also played an integral role in the training and progress of East Hampton officers throughout his career.

“Thank you for your service, leadership and friendship, and best wishes for a long and healthy retirement,” a message on the East Hampton Police Department Facebook page reads.
