East Hampton School Budget, BOE Election Results Are In
Residents turned out Tuesday for the school budget vote.

EAST HAMPTON, NY - East Hampton residents approved a $66,721,301 2016-17 school budget on Tuesday by a wide margin.
The $66,731,301 budget was approved 440 to 86. The budget is a .97 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 0.73 percent hike in the school tax rate.
For the Board of Education, voters elected Wendy Geehreng with 397 votes, Rich Wilson with 362 and JP Foster with 416.Â
