LTV welcomes spring with its 2nd Annual Road Rally. The 4-hour, 100-mile race is a STD (Speed Time Distance) race. It is all about precision. “We look favorably on cars built before 1969,” says Shelly (Rally Master), although cars of all ages are welcome. He promises routes both fun and obscure, complete with secret checkpoints. You don’t need experience; there will be a rally school at 9 a.m. on race morning. Box lunches are provided. Winners and losers share in the End-of-Rally Cocktail Party at LTV headquarters, with great prizes and even better food. The Entry fee is $250.
