Rick Whalen will lead his 22nd consecutive hike of Hither Woods on New Year's Day, organized by the East Hampton Trails Preservation Society. It's a 10 or more miles hike. Participants have to bring water and snacks, and be ready for a moderate pace. Everyone will meet at the Hither Hills Overlook.
