Friends Help Hamptons Reiki Healer In His Time Of Need
Rodrigo, of Montauk Salt Caves, has "shared his gift for healing with others. Now it is his turn to ask you for help."

MONTAUK, NY — Friends are rallying to help a popular reiki master and healer in his time of great need.
A GoFundMe page, "Please Help Rodrigo," was created by Shannon Coppola, owner and CEO of Montauk Salt Cave in Montauk, on behalf of Rodrigo Apiolaza.
"Rodrigo is a Hamptons and New York City based Reiki master, healer and artist," Coppola said. "Hailing from Chile, and living in the United States for the last 15 years, he embodies the spirit of healing and self loving his work as a healer and artist."

During the past seven years, "Rodrigo has served a diverse population as a reiki master for the Montauk Salt Caves in Montauk and Manhattan," Coppola said. "In his work over the last three years with the Montauk Salt Cave, various health and wellness clients, he has helped guided thousands of people in their healing journeys though the power of reiki and self love. His spiritual name is Golden Eagle, and he believes in the power of helping you learn to fly through reiki and self awareness."
In January, Coppola said, he suffered a fall in the New York City subway, due to rainy conditions. He broke his left ankle due the fall, and subsequently has not been able to pay his medical expenses. He is currently uninsured and unable to work due the immobilizing injury, the page said.

He will also need physical therapy treatments in order to fully recover from the serious injury he sustained, the page said.
"Rodrigo is looking to return to what he loves the most — reiki and healing others — as soon is possible. If you have had the pleasure to meet Rodrigo, you will easily recall the immediate connection you feels as he helps you look within to discover the true source of healing — oneself," Coppola wrote. "His kind and gentle nature makes him a soul that you feel gifted to have encountered. Rodrigo has spent much of his adult life sharing his gift for healing with others. Now, it is his turn to ask you for help, as he progresses on his own journey of healing."
As a token of his gratitude for your support with his medical expenses, Rodrigo is offering a black and white photograph postcard. from his "Dragonflies" collection to the first 100 supporters and will be signed and blessed with the energy of Golden Eagle reiki, she added.
