Get Ready to Sweat at Barry's Bootcamp

Barry's Bootcamp is the latest new business to pop-up in Wainscott.

The LA born fitness regime will open a summer location in the Wainscott Village Shopping Plaza, at the former North Shore Windows and Walls space, in June.

The seventh location for the workout chain popular with a celebrity clientel, it promises "on delivering a body transforming workout that combines heart pumping cardiovascular treadmill exercises intermixed with targeted strength training using weights, bars and bands," according to a statement released Thursday.

Barry's Bootcamp was recently featured on "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" on E! when reality stars Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian sweat through a workout at the New York location. Morning talk show host and East Hampton homeowner Katie Couric posted a photo of her at a Barry's Bootcamp on Facebook and joked, "Whoever Barry is I'm going to to kill him!" 

“We believe this workout is the most efficient way to achieve a perfect beach body in a fun, chic way,” said Joey Gonzalez, Barry’s Bootcamp COO and co-owner. “Whether at the beach, a poolside barbecue or evening cocktail party, Barry's Bootcamp will ensure that every Hamptonite looks and feels their best this summer."

The statement describes the new studio as "dimly lit" with wall-to-wall mirrors, "bass thumping club hits." Thirty "bootcampers" can participate per class.

In the West Hollywood location, for instance, each class is $24. At the Chelsea location, they are $32.

Barry's Bootcamp touts its arrival as becoming "a part of a growing health-oriented neighborhood, located in a shopping plaza which also includes , a and a neighboring ."
