Hamptons Natives Among Graduates of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Two local students recently graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.

The students were among the over 1,000 students to graduate from the school.

The 209th Commencement ceremony was held in the East Campus Athletic Village Stadium on May 30, included an address by Admiral Michelle Howard, Vice Chief of Naval Operations.

Among the graduating students included:

• Philip Castracucco of Tuckahoe, who earned a BS in Games and Simulation Arts and Science.
• John Nolan of East Hampton, who earned a BS in Industrial and Management Engineering.
