Job Fair Draws Employment Seekers In East Hampton: Photos

Jobs a'plenty were up for grabs at a recent event held at the East Hampton Library.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — The East Hampton Library was the place to be Friday for job seekers as the "East Hampton Library Job Fair" unfolded in The Baldwin Family Lecture Room.

The room was set up to replicate a mini-trade show, with 20 organizations sharing information about employment opportunities, including home and health care, military, civil service and retail positions.

Representatives from Ridgewells, one of the vendors for the U.S. Open Golf Championship, were also onhand, seeking to fill more than 550 temporary food service and hospitality jobs at the upcoming 118th U.S. Open Championship, slated to be held at the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club from June 11 to June 17.
