July 28-State Police Blotter

Arrests reported by State Police over the past week.

From July 21 to July 27 the New York State Police in Riverhead made 10 uniformed traffic arrests. Seven of the arrests were for driving while intoxicated including three which included unlawful possession charges. One arrest was for harassment and road rage. All of the below information was supplied by State Police. No one listed below has been convicted of a crime.

On July 22, Willie Ross, 62, of Riverhead was involved in a traffic accident on Flanders Road in Riverside. When Troopers arrived at the scene and did an investigation they found Ross to be drunk and guilty of false impersonation. He was released on tickets returnable to the Southampton Town Court on August, 4.

On July 24, Marguerite R. Ambrosio, 20, was stopped by Troopers for speeding northbound on Route 24 in Riverside. A subsequent investigation discovered Ambrosio was intoxicated and had marijuana in her possession. She was released on traffic tickets returnable to Southampton Town Court on August 6

On July 24, Oliver L. Jones, 22, of Fishers Island, was involved in a car accident on East Main Road on Fishers Island. Troopers were called to the scene and a subsequent investigation revealed Jones to be drunk. He was released on traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Southold/Fishers Island Annex Court.

On July 24 Michael Bragg, 20, of Riverhead, was stopped for traffic violations on East Main Street in Riverhead. A subsequent investigation determined Bragg was driving high and had marijuana in his possession at the time of the accident. Bragg was released on tickets returnable to the Town of Riverhead Court on August 4.

On July 25, Conor P. Carr, 20 of Manorville, was arrested following a road rage incident on Route 27 in Westhampton. Carr was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Southampton Town Court on August 6.

On July 25, Kyvon L. Anderson, 24, of Mastic Beach, was stopped for speeding northbound on Route 51 in Northampton. A subsequent investigation determined Anderson was intoxicated. He was released on traffic tickets returnable to Southampton Court on August 6.

On July 25, Tashaunn D. Johnson, 19, of Bellport was stopped on I-495 in Riverhead for traffic violations. An investigation by troopers determined Johnson was in criminal possession of an illegal substance. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Riverhead Court on August 6.

On July 26, Ryan J. Debendittis, 23, was stopped for speeding on Route 39 in Southampton. A subsequent investigation found Debendittis was drunk. He was held for arraignment at the Town of Southampton Court.

On July 26, Jolanta Zalagaityte, 26, was stopped for traffic violations on Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays. A subsequent investigation by troopers determined she was drunk. Zalagaityte was released on traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Southampton Court on August 16.

On July 26, Zachary J. Goodstein, 25, was stopped for speeding on Route 27 in Hampton Bays. An investigation by troopers discovered marijuana. Goodstein was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Southampton Town Court on August 4.
