Local Fueling Company Files Lawsuit Against East Hampton Town Over Spike In Airport Fees
The lawsuit was filed after the East Hampton Town Board increased fuel prices and landing fees earlier this year.

Sound Aircraft Services Inc., an on-site fueling company at East Hampton Airport, has filed a lawsuit against East Hampton Town after the board increased fuel prices and landing fees earlier this year, 27east and Newsday report.
The company filed the lawsuit earlier this month in the State Supreme Court in Riverhead. They claim that by the town increasing the prices and fees in June, they violated the terms of its Federal Aviation grants, 27east reports.
They also want the court to reverse the increase in prices, which the suit calls βarbitrary and capricious,β according to Newsday.

According to the fuiling, the increase changed the companyβs lease with the town and the town did not βadequately notify companies,β Newsday reports.
