EAST HAMPTON, NY — The Chabad of East Hampton held their first of 3 public menorah lightings at the corner of Main Street and Atlantic Avenue in Amagansett on Tuesday.
Rabbi Leibel Baumgarten and his son Aizik, also a rabbi, lit the first candle to spread the light of Chanukah throughout the Hamptons.
Montauk's turn is Thursday in Kirk Park at 4 p.m. The culmination of the public lighting festivities will be the grand Menorahcade of vehicles, topped with menorahs, which will parade at 3 p.m. on Sunday from Chabad House on Woods Lane to the Herrick Park entrance on Newtown Lane.
