The MERCYFUNKS Record Release Party at Innersleeve Records

You are cordially invited to an ALBUM / CD release party to celebrate The MERCYFUNKS: “Don’t pet the white dog,” presented by Kevin Teare, at Innersleeve Records on Saturday, November 29 from 5-7pm.

The MRCYFKS “Don’t pet the white dog” is a 31-song, all original homage to The Beatles White Album. It features Pony Thompson on vocals, Kevin Teare on drums, Jewlee Trudden on guitar, and Keelan James on piano. Guest performers and soloists include: Sara Lee of The B-52s, Jay Daugherty of Patti Smith, Jameson Ellis, Beki Brindle of The Hotheads, Carter Burwell, Paul Glanz, Kirsten McCord, Ralph Scala of The Blues Magoos, Jenni Muldaur, Julia Murphy & Pat Place of The Bush Tetras, Jenny Christmas of The Twenty-Twos, Bruce Anderson of MX-80 Sound, Peter Stampfel of The Fugs, and John Sebastian of The Lovin’ Spoonful.

The MRCYFKS will be donating 70% of the proceeds from the sale of all vinyl, CDs and merchandise to LYME NATION, a NYC organization dedicated to presenting progressive information and alternative treatment to protocols for Lyme Disease and other tick-borne illnesses.
