Motorcyclist Critically Injured In Crash Has No Insurance
"Byron is a caring, loving individual," who has no insurance and is in dire need of help; a GoFundMe has been created, friends say.

EAST HAMPTON, NY —An East Hampton man who was critically injured in a September motorcycle crash on Three Mile Harbor Hog Creek Rd. is in desperate need of help, his friends say.
Byron Mora-Lluaca was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle north on Three Mile Harbor Hog Creek Rd. when he veered off the road and hit a tree; he suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital via Suffolk County aviation, police said.
A GoFundMe page, "Help Byron's Fight," was created by Derek Milgate and has raised $14,360 of its $50,000 goal.

"Byron is a caring, loving individual who, through unfortunate circumstances, has suffered serious physical trauma in a motorcycle accident on the morning of September 9, 2018," the page said. "At the current moment, Byron is being held at Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition, and is preparing for his second neurosurgical procedure in as many days."
Byron is without medical insurance, the page said, "and it is our goal to alleviate the financial burden on his loved ones so that they can focus their time and energy on the care of this amazing individual. Every dollar donated will contribute directly to Byron's medical bills and his recovery. We thank you for anything you may be able to contribute, whether your donation is monetary or even a simple prayer. Keep our loved one in your thoughts as he and his family battle through this difficult time."
