Neighbor Calls Police on Seinfeld Family Lemonade Stand in East Hampton

Jerry Seinfeld’s East Hampton Village neighbors recently called the police while the comedian’s family was running a lemonade stand on Egypt Lane for charity.

Police responded after receiving a complaint about cars that were illegally parked on the green by the lemonade stand, which was drawing attention to the area, according to the police report.

The family agreed to “pack up the stand and leave the area,” the report says.

An officer told the family that lemonade stands were not allowed on village property, according to 27east.

Jessica Seinfeld, Jerry’s wife, made light of the situation, posting a photo on her Instagram page of her kids standing with their hands on their heads “surrendering” to police.

“Lemonade dreams crushed by local neighbor, but not before raising lots of money for @loverecycled,” the photo’s caption reads. “Thanks to all of our customers and big tippers! Thanks, Xander and Jaden, for crushing it today with Julian and Jerry.”

The Seinfelds were raising money for Jessica’s charity, Baby Buggy, which provides families in need across the country with essential gear, clothing, products and services.
