Neo-Political Cowgirls to Host Annual Theatrical Treasure Hunt

The Neo-Political Cowgirls, a local dance theatre company, announced they will be partnering with The Montauk Playhouse, to host their annual theatrical treasure hunt, ZIMA.

The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Montauk Playhouse Community Center on 240 Edgemere Street in Montauk and is open to participants of all ages.

“The word ‘Zima’ is Polish for winter, so the backdrop for this performance couldn’t be more fitting,” Artistic Director, Kate Mueth said. “This piece will be an interactive winter journey, combining mystery, poetry, theater and exploration. We’re so thrilled to have the opportunity to bring this annual event to Montauk this year.”

Participants will be given various clues while watching vignettes along their way around and through The Montauk Playhouse Community Center and attempt to solve the given mystery.

The journey will begin at the gazebo on the green in the center of Montauk with start times beginning every 20 minutes starting at 1 p.m.
